I remember last July when I visited the Ranch and read that Kevin Connors had died three years before in 2005. I knew that Chuck had four grown boys, but I had no idea that one of them had died – what a sad shock that was.
The death of a loved one is always tragic and especially tragic when that death is premature. Kevin was just 32 days into his 49th birthday. I am thankful that his mom and dad, Chuck and Betty Connors were spared from going through that, although I’m sure it must have been just as hard for rest of his family. I pray that his three surviving brothers - Michael, Jeff and Steven can take comfort in the many happy memories they must have shared while growing up together in such a loving family. I take comfort in knowing that Kevin is with his mom and dad now, when you keep someone alive in your heart they are never really gone.
What a dear picture of Chuck and his little boy Kevin, thank you Margie for posting it, and thank you for honoring Kevin each year.

I know Margie said once that Kevin had a lot of health problems, so I'm sure that's one reason he seemed to cling to his father so much. Mabye chuck protected him more or held on to him a little more because they never knew what might happen to him or when they'd have to say goodbye...I'm also glad that the parents pass on before Kevin (as sad as it all is) I hope and pray that if my son is taken at a young age, I'm taken out of this world first so I don't have to experience that! I've always heard that it's a sad thing to outlive your children.
May that precious child, Kevin, rest in peace. I know he continues to live on in our hearts! _________________ Michelle
