Let's keep it in the family.....
While working on a couple projects I came across several father/mothers/daughters/sons that have appeared in some TV episodes together.

Let's see how many we can come up with.

The Rifleman
Chuck Connors - The Schoolmaster

Zane Grey Theatre
Danny & Marlo Thomas - Honor Bright

Link

The Loner - The Ordeal of Bud Windom
Lloyd & Jeff Bridges

Zane Grey Theatre - Image of a Drawn Sword

And of course Sea Hunt

What say you?  Can you think of anymore?

Chris, I love Diagnosis Murder!  I had such a crush on Barry!!!  They also appeared together on the Dick Van Dyke Show.  Didn't Berry play the little boy on the show?

No, Michelle, it was Larry Mathews who played Ritchie Petrie from 1961 to 1966.  Barry Van Dyke has appeared in many television shows besides his regular role in 'Diagnosis' - Google 'Barry Van Dyke imdb' and you'll see what I mean.  I, too, love that show!!  Barry did appear in one episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show, 'The Talented Neighborhood', in 1962 (Season 1, Episode 19), as 'Florian', but I couldn't find a photo to post....

In 1987 Robert Conrad (aka James West and Greg "Pappy" Boyington) had a short-lived TV series "High Mountain Rangers" that he co-starred with his two sons, Shane and Christian.

This one, although from Zane Grey Theatre is really dating back.

These shows are great!  Walter Brennan appeared in several of these and they all are excellent!

We know Chuck appeared with all his boys (a proud daddy!)

I don't know about the other children, but Micahel Landon's daughter (was is Leslie?) played in an episode of Little House on the Prairie with Michael Landon.  She played a little sick girl who has the Plague and asked him if she was going to die.  It was a touching scene, and you could see the love between the two of them.

Micahel Landon Jr. played Little Joe's son in the Bonanza TV movie back in the 90's after Landon's death, but Landon wasn't in it obviously.

They had two children together, and I believe both of their children appeared with their parents in the I Love Lucy show...

Lucie and Desi Jr. did appear in "Here's Lucy" from the late sixties into the 70s.

Desi Jr. was also in a band in the sixties with Dean Martin Jr., called "Dino, Desi and Billy".

Charlie Sheen starred alongside father Martin Sheen in 'Wall Street' and in one of the greatest war films ever, 'Platoon' & 'Two and Half Men'.

Charlie Sheen & Emilio Estevez appeared together in "Young Guns' - but Charlie Sheen only played a minor roll.

Has anyone ever seen The Execution of Private Slovik with Martin Sheen?
This was a true story of Eddie Slovik, who was executed by the Army in 1945, the only American soldier to be executed for desertion since the Civil War.

I'll never forget this movie & I saw it well over 20 years ago.

I read that Melissa Gilbert and the boy that played Willie Olsen in Little House were adopted brother and sister.

That's right!  I forgot all about them.  Laura and Willie were brother and sister.  They played togeter throughout the entire run of the series.  AND later, she got to boss him around when she was the teacher and he was still a student...

Also, the boy who played Andy (Patrick Labyorteaux) and the boy who played Albert (Matthew) were brothers.

I see about that we jumped to a movie above, "On Golden Pond" with the Fonda's.

So what about the best cowboy of them all (IMHO), The Duke.

John Wayne and his son Patrick Wayne

Rio Grande
The Quiet Man
The Searchers
The Alamo
The Comancheros
Donovan's Reef
McClintock!
The Green Barrets
Big Jake

A Family Affair & I ain't talkin' Brian Keith!

Ok, I did remember this, so I have to say -

A Family Affair & I am talkin' Brian Keith!

Hardcastle & McCormick to me was a modern day western.

I loved ole' Hardcastle!  Hunt 'em..... Hear 'em..... & Hang 'em
That's the code of the west!

Brian Keith of course was Hardcastle.  His wife, Victoria Young, also appeared in two episodes of H & Mc .

Daisy Keith, who also became an actress, appearing with her father in the short-lived series "Heartland" in 1989.

One of my all time favorite western movies stars father and son---Alan and David Ladd.  Proud Rebel was released in 1958 when David was 11. For this role David won many awards including a Golden Globe Award as the Best Newcomer of 1958 and a nomination as the Best Supporting Actor as well as inclusion in Film Daily’s Filmdom’s Famous Five critic’s award.  If you have never seen this movie you are missing something special.

Father and son also starred together in The Big Land in 1957.

Honkytonk Man is a 1982 movie that starred Clint Eastwood and his son Kyle.  Set during the Great Depression, this movie tells the story of a broken down singer and his nephew.  It's one of my favorite Clint Eastwood movies, although most people have never heard of it.

Donald Sutherland and Kiefer Sutherland -  in the two films they've appeared in together, 'Max Dugan Returns' and 'A Time to Kill'; they've played enemies in both movies.

How about Sonny and Cher?

We know they had their own show together - eve after the divorce, as well as their daughter.  But did they ever appear in a movie together?  I know I saw Cher in a movie once...

Jeff was in at a coupe of Chuck's movies after he got grown that I can recall. Just very small things. If I'm not mistaken he was a guy on the street in The Mad Bomber and I believe he was in the Walking Tall thing that Chuck did.
