|
|
By now I'm sure y'all are aware of The Virginian will be on Encore Westerns Channel January 2010.
But did you know that a softcover version of The Virginian TV series book is due for publication at the end of October? The contents will be identical to the hardback edition but with the addition of a photo cover and the added attraction of a lower selling price.
I didn't know about either one of these books and thought there might be some of westerns fans out there that just might be interested in this book.
Either book can be ordered at http://thevirginiantv.wordpress.com/
Here is the link to the authors website.....

"Encyclopedia of Weird Westerns" is due for publication late September. It includes many TV Westerns that have "weird" elements including Kung Fu, Wild Wild West and even a few episodes of "Bonanza."
The book is extensive in its listings.

A biography of actor Pete Duel published by McFarland & Co. in 2007 also includes lots of information on "Alias Smith and Jones."

The Virginian will be on Encore in 2010. Plenty of time to get Encore. Lots of great westerns coming to this station.
These are very hard to find as far as I know. I do have some, but off of TV years ago - I plan on getting a better quality of these when it comes on next year. _________________ Catch ya' later!

I think I just watched one of those "Wierd episodes" yesterday. It was from Season 6 and it was about a knight in shining armor that came to stop the robbery of a stagecoach...twice! Adam couldn't get anyone to believe him. _________________ Michelle
